A MAN has been charged with stealing meat after being stopped by plain clothes officers in Bicester.
Officers were congratulating themselves yesterday after charging the 23-year-old within three hours of arresting him.

The man was detained along with another person during a stop-check by the officers while on patrol.
The meat was found and the pair were arrested with the 23-year-old charged yesterday afternoon.

He spent the night in the cells and will appear in court this morning, according to police.
The force has not said what happened to the other person.
