THE first No Expressway Alliance Conference will be held in Bicester a week today.
Campaigners fighting plans for the Oxford-to-Cambridge highway will meet at Webb Court, Causeway, Bicester, from 10.30am to 4pm on Saturday.
Speakers will come from the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE), the Berks Buck and Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) and the No Expressway group.

The day will be in two parts: a morning session will be spent looking at the percieved problems raised by the plan and what could be done to stop the plan going forward; the afternoon will look at how opponents could work to build a campaign across the region.
