OXFORD United's official charity has asked fans to help raise free funds when they shop online.

When signing up to an online portal, Easy Fundraising, money will be donated to Oxford United in the Community (OUITC) if users select it as their charity of choice.

The portal then donates to the charity every time users shop online, with no extra charge.

More than 3,600 retailers have signed up to the scheme, including ebay, Amazon and John Lewis.

Tim Tarby-Donald, head of charitable activities at OUITC, said: “This is a great way for people to support Oxford United’s charity and help us do even more in the community.

“Easy Fundraising is a superb tool, it’s free to join and pretty much every time you shop online it will trigger a donation to the charity of your choice.

"I know United fans are brilliant at pulling together and backing the club and the charity and this is an effective way to help and play a part in our success.

"If everyone got behind this and it would really make a difference.”

All sign ups made before April 2 will trigger a £5 bonus to OUITC. You can sign up at https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/invite/UKZDA5/EXDFEJ/
