A new wall hanging (with a contribution from each WI) to mark the centenary will be unveiled and there will also be a parade of the WI banners.

The events carry on through the year, including a special trip to see Calendar Girls at Oxford’s New Theatre, a talk on the early days of Denman College, the WI’s centre for learning in Marcham, near Abingdon, a Beatles tribute band, and an art exhibition of members’ work in Didcot.
