THIEVES broke into a store in Botley and stole cigarettes, tobacco and alcohol.
Thames Valley Police said the break-in happened at the shop in Pinnocks Way on Saturday at about 11.30am after a man smashed in the front door.
He is described as being about 5ft 8ins and of medium build. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top with the hood obscuring his face.
Investigating officer, PC Tom Coyne, based at Abingdon police station, said: “Please be aware of any suspicious sales of cheap cigarettes, tobacco or alcohol.”
