AN OXFORDSHIRE church marked the start of the festive season with the local community showing off their very own bespoke Christmas tree designs this weekend.
St Mary's Church, Childrey, held a Christmas Tree Festival event on Saturday afternoon.
There were around 20 different trees decorated by local businesses and community groups from the village all going on display between 3pm and 6pm at the showcase event.
Music was played and refreshments served at the public event for villagers to come together ahead of the Christmas celebrations.
Pictured is event organiser Jane Bardell checking everything is in order with a creation by Lucy Gilroy from The Childrey Practice - Solution Based Hypnotherapy.
The final viewing of the trees will be held at the church on Wednesday night.
