BROKEN traffic lights at one of the main roundabouts taking drivers in and out of the city have now been fixed.
This morning, road users were being urged to approach the Headington Roundabout on Green Road with care after the signals cut out.
But Oxfordshire County Council, the body behind the roads in Oxford, have now fixed the lights and say that roads will be re-opened shortly.
The traffic signals team at the council are investigating the reason the lights cut out.
One worried driver told the Oxford Mail that whilst the lights were out there have been several near accidents.
At the time they said: “All traffic lights on the Headington roundabout are out. Many near misses as lorries storm through the central section.”
