DOG owners can now be joined by their pets for a quick tipple after an Oxford bar launched its first beer for canines.
BrewDog in Cowley Road will be giving out bottles of its new Subwoofer IPA to the first 20 dogs through the door on Sunday.
The beer is the first created by the chain specially for man's best friend and uses the same base ‘wort’ as the craft beers made for human consumption.
But those fearing for a influx of inebriated dogs should be reassured to hear that the beer is alcohol-free and non-carbonated.
It contains B-vitamins and probiotics beneficial for dogs and apparently has 'citrus overtones'.
Those attending the bar on Sunday will also be given doggy treats and entered into a raffle to win a case of the beer.
If you miss out on the freebies, the beer is now available to buy for £2.50
