A STOLEN bike found by police in Oxford city centre is awaiting the return of its rightful owner.
Thames Valley Police tweeted a photo of a crimson red Carrera bike today, inviting its owner to come forward.
The tweet said: "Does this bike belong to you? We recovered this bike yesterday on St Ebbes Street along with the lock that had been cut."
The owner has been asked to call 101 quoting reference 43180353151, or visit thamesvalley.police.uk.
The cyclist will need to provide the lock combination code to prove it is their bike.
