A CAR has smashed through the front of a petrol station shop in Bicester.
The Tesco petrol station off the A41 has been forced to close after the car crashed through the shop entrance earlier today.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue posted pictures of the wreckage of the black Ford to Facebook and said nobody was injured in the crash.
The fire service statement added that the driver was able to leave the car after being cared for by paramedics.
Tesco spokesman Tom Nicholson added: “The petrol station at our Bicester Superstore is temporarily closed due to damage caused by a car accident.
"We would like to apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused whilst we work to reopen the petrol station as soon as possible.”
