PEOPLE looking to get crafty for Christmas bustled through the halls of Blenheim Palace yesterday for the first day of a weekend craft fair.

More than 180 makers showed off their festive delights for the Living Crafts for Christmas show running until Sunday.

Visitors to the palace gave delve through various potential presents from all the family from one-off stocking fillers, millinery, ceramics, studio, glass, leatherwork, sculpture, textile crafts, photography, toys, puzzles and fashion.

For the start of the crafty weekend yesterday, there were teddy bears in bow ties, wildlife artwork, and even a stilt walker entertaining the crowd on two wheels.

There was also an array of smells to tempt the tastebuds as homemade goods spewed through the halls including cheese, fudge, coffee and wine.

It will run until Sunday and the palace has said it will be operating a pay and park service in its overflow car park during busy times.
