A BAT expert will have to supervise the construction of a new office building.
Ecologist Anthony Bluden is set to watch over the building work at Lodge Farm House in Childrey near Wantage.
The owners, Sparsholt Manor Farms, already won outline planning permission to demolish the existing farm offices and barn and build replacement offices, but because it is thought there are bats in the area they have had to take extra precautions.
Natural England has said it is happy for the work to proceed, but asked for Mr Blunden, of Aluco Ecology, to ensure the deconstruction of the current building is supervised.
