CUSTOMERS of two mobile phone networks are set to get better reception thanks to the Prime Minister's old school.
Three UK and EE are hoping to erect a 20m-high pole hosting telecommunications antennae at Wheatley Park School near Holton.
A planning application by Shared Access and MBNL Ltd, which also seeks permission for two dishes and five ground-based equipment cabinets to provide 2G, 3G and 4G, has been submitted to South Oxfordshire District Council.
It comes after a similar application by Telefonica, which owns O2, to install new antennae at Thame Fire Station.
