A RESIDENT concerned about antisocial behaviour has requested the removal of a bench from an Oxford bus shelter.
Reporting via the FixMyStreet website, the request referred to a bench housed inside a brick bus shelter in St Giles, outside Oxford University's Department of Statistics building.
The report stated: "We would like this bench removed from within this bus shelter. This is due to recent antisocial behaviour, with drug and alcohol abuse. This has extended from the churchyard across the street."

Last week Oxford City Council revealed it had cleared 126 used needles and other drug paraphernalia from St Giles' Church churchyard, which is opposite the bus shelter.
A photo shared alongside the complaint showed the bench fenced off by a sheet of green tarpaulin.
