ANOTHER Oxfordshire headteacher has been banned from the roads for speeding.
Damian Ettinger, head of Cokethorpe mixed private school south of Witney, was convicted of speeding in his Volvo at 36mph in a 30mph zone on Botley Road in Oxford on January 27.
The 52-year-old of Cokethorpe Park, Ducklington,was convicted at Oxford Magistrates' Court on September 12.
He was given a six-month driving ban due to ‘repeat offending’ and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
He was also ordered to pay a fine of £389, a victim surcharge of £38 and court costs of £85.
His case comes after Rachael Warwick, headteacher of Didcot Girls' School and St Birinus School, was banned from driving for 28 days in September for speeding 50mph in a 30mph zone.
She was fined £660 plus a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85.
