BUDDING young footballers can learn new skills at half-term holiday courses run by Oxford United's official charity.

Oxford United in the Community is inviting boys and girls aged four to 14 to the specialist sessions in a 3G indoor sports dome at the Oxford Academy, starting tomorrow.

The courses are tailored for children of all abilities, with each day consisting of warm ups, skills sessions, shooting and mini-matches.

Children must bring their own football kit, including shin-pads, boots, trainers, plus lunch and drinks.

The camps, which include separate courses for boys and girls, aim to develop respect, sportsmanship, fair play and teamwork in a fun environment.

All the coaches are FA qualified and have up to date safeguarding, first aid training and Criminal Record Checks.

Kate Longworth, CEO at Oxford United in the Community, said: “The courses are structured for children to have fun and improve their skills in a nurturing and safe environment."

The sessions take place from 9am to 3pm and cost £75 for the full week or £20 per day.
