THE weekend is finally here, and as always, there’s plenty of fun to be had! Here are some great activities to keep you busy for the next three days.

• Tonight, City of Newport Male Choir will be joined by Marazion Apollo Male Choir, in a concert at St Julian's Methodist Church. The singing will start at 7.30pm, with funds raised supporting charity, Action for Children. Tickets are £6 on the door.

• On Saturday, the National Conker championships will be hosting their sixteenth year, at Pill Harriers club in Newport. From 7pm until 11pm guests can combat each other on their conk-uest, with money raised supporting Marrow For Marley. Entry is £2.

• A punk and hardcore festival, protesting hate crime, is being hosted at Warehouse 54, from 12.45pm this Saturday. Ten bands will perform at the event, organised by Reality Theatre, which ends at 10pm. Tickets are £18, which includes a booking fee. You can read more about Crush Hate Crime 2018 here.

• FearFest-Evil, an 'intense' immersive horror experience is returning to Chepstow, with guests chased around woodlands, haunted houses, disused railways and an abandoned quarry, pursued by 'Night Creatures.' Optional extras include a zipwire and a giant 3G swing. This is at Chepstow National Diving & Activity Centre, with slots available on Friday and Saturday evenings for the next two weekends. • On Sunday, local business, House of Couture Bridal Boutique, are hosting a boutique show, from 11am until 3pm, at Cardiff City Hall. This free event will feature more than 60 exhibitors and two catwalk shows. Guests can enjoy competitions, demos, and goodie bags, along with the snack bar and live music by X Factor's Kayleigh Marie Morgan.
