A WINDMILL that's for sale could be taken over by a community group, if nobody bids.
The current owners of the Wheatley Windmill, descendants of the last millers to work at the site, have put the Grade II listed building up for sale with an asking price of £300,000.
In the Wheatley Newsletter, a member of the Wheatley Windmill Preservation Society wrote a plea for a new buyer, adding if nobody steps up the group will place a bid based on the 'realistic' value of the 18th century Oxfordshire landmark.
