NEW disabled parking places are set to be installed across Oxford, due to increased demand.
Oxfordshire County Council has unveiled proposals to create 15 new parking spaces in roads across the city.
At the same time the council proposes to remove 10 disabled parking spaces which it says are no longer needed.
Under the plans, which are currently out for consultation, two new spaces each will be installed in Jasmine Close and Pegasus Road in Blackbird Leys along with two more in Old Greyfriars Street near the Westgate.
Other roads set to get disabled spaces include Barns Road, Cowley, Ashmole Place, Blackbird Leys and Sunningwell Road, New Hinksey.
Roads where bays will be removed include Allam Street, Jericho, Bourne Close, Cutteslowe, and Duke Street, Botley.
Comments on the plans can be made until October 26 at consultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk
