BANBURY MAGISTRATES

GEMMA PAGE, 35, of Withycombe Drive, Banbury, admitted possessing a quantity of cannabis on September 1 at Banbury. She was given a conditional discharge for six months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

KARLA WATSON, 46, of Balliol Road, Bicester, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis when requested at Banbury police station on August 27. She was fined £487 and must pay a victim surcharge of £48 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with 10 penalty points.

QASIM HUSSAIN, 32, of Hurst Street, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed after release from prison by failing to attend rehabilitation activity requirement and supervision. He was jailed for 14 days.

AIDEN BOOTH, 19, of Kingsway, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with a community order by failing to comply with unpaid work on July 22 and August 5. He was fined £75 and ordered to continue.

JAMIE EADLE, 28, of Fleetwood Way, Thame, admitted damaging a police cell valued at £78 at Abingdon police station on May 9. He must pay compensation of £78.

MARCUS KEADY, 35, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing washing powder valued at £70 from Co-Op, Oxford, on August 25, Radley purses valued at £250.50 from Debenhams, Oxford, on April 14, more Radley purses valued at £220 from Debenhams, Oxford, on May 2, yet more Radley purses valued at £469 from Debenhams, Oxford, on May 5 and Calvin Klein and Lacoste fragrances valued at £107 from Boots, Oxford, on April 25. He was jailed a total of 28 days and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

JUSTIN POULTER, 37, of Elmhurst Way, Carterton, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver at Banbury between December 22 and January 19. He was fined £600 and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £150 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

ALAN CHAMBERS, 48, of no fixed abode, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on May 29 and June 5. He was fined £50 and ordered to continue.

LEE MULLEN, 31, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing an Oral B 9000 series toothbrush valued at £300 from Boots, Banbury, on August 9. He was jailed for 21 days and must pay £300 in compensation.

DANIEL TAYLOR, 22, of Spring Road, Little Bourton, admitted causing criminal damage to clothing to a value unknown and assaulting a woman at Banbury on August 19. He was made subject to a community order to include rehabilitation activity requirement for 25 days and unpaid work for 120 hours. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £150.

JACK BARRATT, 37, of McKeevor Place, Banbury, admitted stealing an electric razor valued at £29.99 from Boots, Banbury, on August 16 as well as failing to surrender to custody. He was fined £80 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs totalling £80.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES'

JUSTIN GOULD, 45, of York Road, West Hagbourne, was convicted of using a vehicle without insurance in Grenoble Road, Oxford, on March 31. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Eight penalty points.

LEON JOSH COLE, 21, of Almar Road, Banbury, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour in Middleton Road, Milton, on August 12. Fined £40, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40.

NEIL HENDERSON, 51, of Barnwell, Wantage, admitted causing criminal damage to a handle and double glazed panel of a side door in Hampden Road, Wantage, on September 3. Restraining order made not to contact a woman or go to a property until December 4. Fined £80, must pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40.

BAYLEE CANNON, 21, of Hillview Crescent, Banbury, admitted drink driving in Wimborne Avenue, Banbury, on August 17. Had 63mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Fined £390, must pay a victim surcharge of £39 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

RAZVAN MARIAN COJOCARU, 23, of North Street, Banbury, admitted failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis when required at Banbury Police Station on August 18. Fined £320, must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.

ALICE WHITE, 45, of Merton Street, Banbury, was convicted of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour causing another person harassment, alarm or distress in Banbury on December 28, January 25 and April 7. The offence was aggravated because of hostility based on sexual orientation. A restraining order was made not to contact a man, attend his address or visit Cafe Nero in Banbury between 8am and 1pm daily until March, 4, 2020. Discharged conditionally for 18 months, must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £620.

GARY MICHAEL ROWLEY, 48, of Slade Close, Oxford, was convicted of stealing a bottle of champagne worth £37 from Marks & Spencers in Oxford Railway Station, Park End Street, on April 1 and again on April 15. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. A community order was made and he must attend treatment for drug dependency for six months. Must pay £74 compensation.
