A £290,000 boost to a project which supports people recovering from drug and/or alcohol dependency is likely to get the go-ahead this week.
Oxfordshire County Council is expected to give money over five years to support staff costs in a house in Beech Road, Headington.
The Sapling Project, run by Oxford Homeless Pathways, is achieving ‘good outcomes’, a council report said.
The project helps people who have been assessed as not needing further residential rehab treatment but who are more likely to stay drug and/or alcohol free living in recovery-based accommodation.
A final decision is expected on Wednesday.
