BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

CARMEN LOVEJOY, 47, of Prescott Avenue, Banbury, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on November 13 at Banbury with 184 mlg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. She was fined £275 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85, and was also disqualified from driving for 18 months.

COLIN MATLEY, 34, of Miller Road, Banbury, admitted stealing steaks from Station Road Garage, Stow on the Wold on August 7 and two bottles of vodka from Sainsbury’s, Banbury, valued at £80 on February 17, as well as taking a vehicle without the owners consent on September 15 at Braithwaite Close, Banbury and driving without insurance or a driving licence on September 19. He was made subject to a community order to include a drug rehabilitation requirement for nine months and a rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days. He must also pay compensation of £60, court costs totalling £190 and a fine of £200.

CALLUM SHERRY, 28, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing perfume valued at £72.65 from Boots, Cornmarket Street, Oxford on February 3 and possession of cannabis, failing to surrender to custody and breaching a suspended sentence. He was jailed for a total of eight weeks and must pay compensation of £72.65.

DAWN MANFIELD, 40, of no fixed abode, admitted possession of cannabis at Banbury on January 1. She was given a conditional discharge for six months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £20.

ROBERT LYSZCZARZ, 38, of Orchard Way, Bicester, admitted failing to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence by failing to attend unpaid work on December 17 and January 14. He was jailed for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months.

MAX MCTAGGART, 34, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing a shaver and razor from Boots, Banbury, on July 22 and was convicted of assaulting a police officer at Lower Cherwell Street, Banbury, on July 22. He was jailed for a total of 18 weeks and must pay compensation of £149.98 to Boots and £200 to the police officer, and a victim surcharge of £115.

CARL BOWEN, 43, of Whitelands Way, Bicester, admitted three counts of harassment through breaching a restraining order by following a woman, attempting to talk to her, posting a card through her door and making repeated phone calls in contravention of the order on February 8, 12 and 14. He was made subject to a community order to include a rehabilitation activity requirement for 15 days and ordered to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

SAMANTHA O’HARA, 46, of Castle Street, Banbury, admitted failing to notify Cherwell District Council between October 28 2013 and May 15 2017 a change of circumstances which would affect entitlement to housing benefit.. She was made subject to a community order to include 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

JASON ELLIOTT, 32, of Grebe Road, Bicester, was convcited of speeding by driving 110mph in a 70mph at the M40 Oxfordshire on August 22. He was fined £575 and must pay a victim surcharge of £57 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 56 days.

DECLAN SHEA, 18, of South Avenue, Abingdon, was convicted of speeding by driving above the limit in a 30 mph area at Abingdon Road, Culham, on August 31. He was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 28 days.

DARKO MICOV, 28, of Wensum Crescent, Bicester, was convicted of driving without due care and attention, without a driving licence, third party car insurance or a valid MOT test certificate on October 2 at Temple Road, Oxford. He was fined £300 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

LUKE TANSLEY, 32, of Sycamore Way, Didcot, admitted speeding by driving 40 mph in a 30 mph area at Botley Road, Oxford, on May 2. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

JAMES LOCH, 31, of Sunnyside, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver between July 14 and August 11 at Banbury as well as speeding by driving 36 mph in a 30 mph area on July 5 at Marston Road, Oxford. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

WILLIAM GEDDES, 47, of Temple Street, Oxford, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit at James Street, Oxford, on January 7 with 70 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £400 and must pay a victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for three years.

RAYMOND STARKINGS, 29, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing cash and cigarettes from the Duke of Monmouth, Abingdon Road, on January 9, stealing an Apple I phone 6 worth £600 from Oxford Spires Four Pillars Hotel, Abingdon Road on January 10, stealing cash and a laptop worth £370 from The One Rest & Bar, Botley Road on January 11 and stealing cash and a handbag worth £12 from Dental Surgery The Leys Health Centre, Dunnock Way, Oxford, on January 16. He was jailed for 20 weeks and must pay compensation totalling £300.

KRISTIANE BARLOW, 27, of Edinburgh Drive, Didcot, made false representation to South Oxfordshire District Council in order to make a gain relating to housing benefit on July 22 and income support on June 14. She was made subject to a community order to include an overnight curfew and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.
