TWO men were injured after being brutally attacked in the centre of Oxford.
One of the victims lost some of his teeth and suffered bruising to his head, while the other received minor injuries following the assault which happened just before Christmas.
The more seriously injured man was treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
Police are now on the hunt for the three men who carried out the attack in Bulwarks Lane, an alley that runs between New Road and George Street, at 3.30am on December 23.
The force only issued the information today.
The offenders are described as three Asian men, all in their 20s, wearing dark clothing.
Investigating officer, PC Janet Burchell, based at St Aldate's police station, said: "We are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
"We are aware that a number of people spoke to the two victims whilst they were sat in Bonn Square after the assault, we would ask them to please come forward.
"Additionally there would have been many people in the area as it was closing time for the local nightclubs so we would ask anyone who witnessed this assault to please get in touch."
