Are there any readers who can help me with any information regarding a house fire in 1956?
After a day out visiting relatives, my mother, sister, brother and myself returned home to 11 Lyndon Avenue, Wallington, to find the house totally destroyed by fire. This happened about eight months after my father died, while working at Vynels in Butterhill.
This is very important to me so any information, however small, would be very much appreciated.
