A CAMPAIGN has been launched to dramatically cut the number of bowel cancer deaths in Greater Manchester.
The Don't Be A Cancer Chancer campaign urges people to visit their GP early with possible cancer symptoms.
Toilet paper, beer mats, bingo dobbers, pens and stickers carrying the campaign motto, "Catching it early could save your life", are displayed in places the target audience frequent such as bingo halls, supermarkets, newsagents, betting shops, community centres, libraries and pubs.
The pilot campaign is running for a month to coincide with April being Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.
