EDGE, the postgraduate performance company of London Contemporary Dance School, featuring 14 exceptional dancers on the cusp of their professional careers, are coming to Newport's The Riverfront.

Made up of an international line-up of outstanding dance makers they have created works for the company in this varied programme of new and vibrant dance.

It includes a specially recreated version of the stylish and sexy Strange Attractors Part II by Stephen Petronio, called "the brainiest and hippest of New York's choreographers" by The New York Times) and new pieces created for EDge by Stacy Matthew Spence (formerly of Trisha Brown Dance Company) and Danish dance maker Charlotte Boye-Christensen.

EDge will also present the Leche Commissions, a selection of short original works created specifically for the company by four up-and-coming choreographers.

These witty, dramatic and engaging pieces are created by Ben Duke, Rick Nodine, Frauke Requardt and Anna Williams.

EDge gives you the chance to watch exciting, rewarding dance of today performed by the artists of tomorrow.

The performance takes place on Thursday, June 14, at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost between £4.50 and £8.50 and are available from the box office on 01633 656757.
