Saturday sees the start of a ten-match round-robin contest for the Cumbria Hockey Association's Men's Cup.
All the matches are being played at Ulverston's astro pitch and cup-holders Glaxo start the ball rolling at 10.30am when they take on the ever-improving Windermere. Kendal play Carlisle at 11.40am and then West Cumbria face Windermere at 12.50pm before Glaxo play again, against Kendal, at 2pm, with the final match of the day, between Carlisle and West Cumbria, at 3.10pm.
Windermere are the early birds again on Sunday, playing Kendal at 10am, f ollowed by Glaxo against Carlisle at 11.10am and then Kendal v West Cumbria at 12.20pm. Carlisle play Windermere at 1.30pm and West Cumbria play Glaxo at 2.40pm.
The presentation of the cup will follow the last match.
