OF course Freddie Flintoff shouldn't have got so disgracefully drunk during the cricket World Cup in the Caribbean.
He's a bit old at 29 to go in for daft escapades, and as an iconic sportsman should have had more sense.
But, suffering crushing defeats take their toll and everyone needs a release.
I suspect that if this had been a victory celebration instead of a commiseration, public condemnation would have been considerably less.
