Pete Moulder hit a brace for Hook Norton - but they were unable to hang on for victory as they drew 2-2 against Malmesbury Victoria in Sport Italia Hellenic League Division 1 West.

Moulder opened the scoring after 18 minutes, tapping in after Malmesbury keeper Stuart Pound fumbled Gareth Source's right-wing centre.

The match was then held up following an accidental mid-air collision between Hooky goalkeeper Richard Meadows and Vics' captain Alan Webb.

Meadows went to hospital with a shoulder ligaments' injury, while Webb, who momentarily lost consciousness, received treatment at the scene from paramedics.

Moulder slotted home Hooky's second in the 29th minute.

But Malmesbury pulled one back a minute later when substitute keeper Liam Shea's clearance ricocheted back over his head and into net off Dan Price's boot from 35 yards out.

Vics' equaliser came on 59 minutes when Ed Wilkins beat Shea with a crisp shot from just outside the penalty area.
