DID I misread it, or were these new elephants made out of vandal-proof material, or not? The ones that they replaced have been there for 20-odd years and were still acceptable and a delight to my grandchildren a few weeks ago.
The new ones have lasted a few days at a cost of £30,000. I know it is easy to be wise after an event, but I hope the person or persons who make the decisions that gives us results like this still have the receipt so they can ask for a refund - and will think a little more carefully next time.
