Thieves grabbed nearly £1,000 worth of hanging baskets and small palm tress from a greenhouse.
The incident occurred at Knowle Hill, Evesham, on Saturday night. Police have warned gardeners and garden centres to be on alert.
"Spring is the time of year when opportunist thieves' minds turn to hanging baskets, plants and even lawn-mowers as a comparatively easy target and an opportunity to sell on quickly to unsuspecting members of the public," said police spokesman Richard Bull. He added it is possible the hanging baskets and palms will end up at car-boot sales or weekend markets.
Anyone with information about the theft can call police on 08457 444 888, quoting 307s/220407.
