IT isn't often convicted killers, the likes of Michael Sams, speak the truth about anything - except when he brags that he is far better off in prison than living on the outside as a state pensioner.
He scoffs three good meals a day plus supper, and has immediate dental and medical care, radio, coloured telly, free haircuts, mobile phone, as much baccy as he can smoke, etc.
It wouldn't surprise me if he was demanding and getting his conjugal rights.
As for me, I much prefer to struggle along with my freedom.
I'm just off down to the bookies to try and fiddle a few quid, to help pay the dreaded council tax.
