BATTERED Corr and pummelled Peacock are vital ingredients in the promotion mix and Town boss Paul Sturrock has dropped a heavy hint that he will play his creaking duo against Mansfield.

Barry's back and Lee's hamstring are cause for considerable concern but their manager wants to end the season with no regrets.

Is it better to play people who may break down or leave them out and increase the risk of not gaining the result you desperately need?

Sturrock said: "I'm going on my holidays at the end of the season and I would hate to sit on the cruise ship saying to myself that I'd rested two players with three games to go and failed to get promotion really because of that."

The manager trusts the pair will come to him if they feel unable to step out against the Stags.

Sturrock said: "When their tanks are empty, they'll give me a shout but I'm very hopeful they'll both start the game on Saturday."

The only positive' selection decision the manager looks to have on his hands is in attack.

If Corr starts then it comes down to a straight fight between Blair Sturrock and Lukas Jutkiewicz for the other striker's berth.

Sturrock junior has started the last two matches, netting in the first, while Jutkiewicz came off the bench against both Torquay and Bury respectively to grab vital winners.

The Town boss said: "Lukas has influenced the last two games and there is a debate whether we play him or we don't."

Jack Smith suffered an ankle injury in training yesterday but he misses out anyway as he completes his two-match ban.
