DON'T forget this week is the British Open Show Jumping Championships, starting tomorrow (Thursday) and building up to Sunday's grand finale.
The event, at the NEC in Birmingham, will feature Ryedale's very own dressage superstar, Becky Moody.
Becky will be performing a daily freestyle dressage to music and Grand Prix level on her horse, Humble Pie. This is the second year that Becky has been asked to ride at the British Open after last year's demonstrations were such a success.
As well as Becky's performances there are a number of other displays, competitions and lots of trade stands to be seen.
Yorkshire-based riders are dominating the show jumping line up which includes a number of the Whitakers - Ellen, William, John, Joe and Robert - as well as Paul Barker.
Young rider Chloe Reynard is also making an appearance on her ride, Quattro.
Crowds can expect to be entertained with show jumping, dressage, Pony Club displays, indoor cross country, high goal arena polo, scurry driving, vaulting, barrel racing, rider signings and trade stands galore.
