Watford finished third in this year's Herts Youth Games.
More than 150 youths took part in a series of sporting competitions at the weekend, battling not only against each other but torrential rain.
The rain stood no chance against 93 girls and 60 boys competing in a range of sports including athletics, hockey, badminton and rugby.
Watford finished third with 107 points, 3 points behind St Albans who came second with 110 points.
East Herts won the day with 115 points - a close contest indeed.
Watford's under-12 football girls team who won their competition, meanwhile the under-14 mixed table tennis team came second also, and the under-9 athletics team came third.
Overall, Watford came second in the girls' and fourth in the boys' competition.

"I am delighted with Watford's result and would like to thank all the team mangers and players in doing so well and Watford proud. "
