ANOTHER drugs factory was unearthed in Harrow on Wednesday afternoon.

And organised criminals had caused so much damage to the electricity mains in the property in Christchurch Avenue, Kenton, that police used an excavator to make the house safe to enter according to police spokesman Will Goddard.

He said: "We used a mechanical digger at the house because the mains were unsafe and the easiest way to disconnect them is to dig up the road."

Police believe the factory was in the process of being shut down and is the latest in a series of high profile raids on cannabis factories in the borough.

A police guard remains on duty outside the property.
