Jo Nurton from Cannington is a RNLI enthusiast and so decided to construct a charity to support the lifeboats, and to once finished, she set it up as a real collection.
Any visitors to her home were invited to put in a few pence, and the end result was £56.76, which she brought in to Burnham lifeboat station during a training evening.
Jo said: "My dad goes boat fishing and I think lifeboats should be supported."
Lifeboat Operations manager Martin Cox added: "We are very grateful to Jo for her hard work and dedication."
