Transport chiefs have answered calls to work on linking up bus services with trains in a bid to tackle traffic and parking problems.
West Yorkshire Passenger Transport executive, Metro, has agreed to work with a bus operator with the hope of co-ordinating buses from Addingham with much-used commuter train services from Ilkley Railway Station.
Councillor Anne Hawkesworth (Con, Ilkley) has been pressing Bradford Council transport officers over bus and connecting train links from Addingham to Leeds and Bradford.
Now Metro's director of passenger services, John Henkel, has assured Coun Hawkesworth that Metro's bus and rail manager will work with bus firm Keighley and District Travel on improving the timetable on the 762 service.
