THE first two home in the last meeting at Mollington return to contest the feature race at Sunday's Bicester with Whaddon Chase meeting at the north Oxfordshire course.

Persian Hero, winner of the Men's Open at last month's Grafton Hunt meeting, is one of 16 entries in Sunday's Volkswagen Touareg sponsored race.

Persian Hero, trained by Gerald Bailey over the border in Northamptonshire, will once again have to overcome the Karen Lawther- trained Tanager, who was runner-up in March.

Also in the race is Bering Gifts, the leading horse in the South Midlands Area in 2006 for Aston Rowant handler Alan Hill.

And, the first two in the Members race at last year's meeting, are also entered in Sunday's equivalent. Runner-up Celtic Season, trained by Chris Loggin at Charlton, will be looking to reverse the placings with the Lucy Shepherd-trained Sir Lancelot in a small, but select field.

The first of seven races at Mollington, just north of Banbury, is at 2pm. For the latest going and information call Talking Point 09068 446061.
