GOLFERS are being invited to take to the greens for a charity competition.
Darlington Mayor's Golf Day takes place at Stressholme Golf Centre, in Darlington, on Friday, June 1.
In the past, the day, organised by Darlington Borough Council, has raised thousands of pounds for charity.
Brunch will be served before tee off, there will be refreshments on the course, and a carvery and presentation at the 19th hole when the day is over.
This year's sponsors include Ropers Leisure, The Northern Echo and Viviente.
