Polish star Pepe Protasiewicz is set to return for Oxford Cheetahs' tough clash with champions Peterborough in the Sky Sports Elite League at the East of England Showground tonight (7.30).
Sidelined of late with a knee injury, he made his track return for Zielona Gora in the Polish Elite League on Sunday.
Although he top-scored with 14 points, he couldn't prevent a 55-34 defeat at the hands of Rzeszow.
Providing he suffered no adverse reaction to his injury, he should be in Cheetahs' line-up.
But even if he is fit, Oxford, who have lost their last five league matches, face a daunting task against a Panthers side who have won all three of their home league matches this year.
Meanwhile, Ales Dryml underwent surgery last week to pin and plate his broken collar-bone.
It remains to be seen how long it will be before he's fit enough to return to action.
Cheetahs owner Colin Horton, who has a big hand in both clubs, will probably be sitting on the fence.
Jesper Jensen - one man he allowed to come to Oxford - could prove a handful for the Panthers.
Peterborough: Andersen, L Dryml, Iversen, Hall, Bjerre, King, Swiderski.
Oxford: Jensen, Smith, Rider-replacement, Johnston, Protasiewicz, Eriksson, Andersson.
