Teenage striker Jerome Anderson starred with two goals on his debut as Didcot ended Bracknell's four-game unbeaten run in their Division 1 South & West clash at the Loop Meadow on Saturday with a 4-0 victory.

Anderson, on loan from Oxford United, made the perfect start, when under pressure from Bracknell's Ben Edwards, he converted Josh Kennet's second-minute cross from close range.

And only a stunning save from Bracknell keeper Paul McCarthy stopped him doubling the lead two minutes later.

McCarthy was again in the thick of things when he dived full length to turn away Paul Powell's low drive as the home side started brightly. A sweeping move from Didcot's own half ended with Kennet's deep cross that Andy Parrott nodded over the bar from six yards.

It wasn't until the 34th minute that the visitors had their first shot on target when Ross Hogston's volley flew inches wide.

Didcot edged further ahead shortly after the break when Anderson scored his second.

McCarthy made another fine save to deny Ian Concannon, but the unmarked Anderson fired home the rebound. On the hour mark the Robins almost pulled a goal back but after creating an opening James Mepham fired inches over.

Bracknell came close to reducing the arrears. Ross Watson broke clear and after Chris Webb had saved well with his feet Watson then mis-cued the rebound.

Webb was then forced into making a superb save to deny James Mepham, but it was Didcot, who added two more goals in the last eight minutes.

After both substitute Ray Spence and Anderson had come close, Jack King made the game safe when he headed home Kennet's deep corner.

Spence then finished off a move involving Josh Mulvany and J-P Mills to make it 4-0 in stoppage time.

Didcot: Webb, Goodall (J-P Mills 55), Powell, Heapy, Bedwell, Parrott, Kennet, King, Concannon (Spence 58), Anderson, Witt (Mulvany 73).
