BRAZILIAN Ferrari driver Felipe Massa won today's Bahrain Grand Prix ahead of McLaren superstar Lewis Hamilton.

Hamilton became the first driver in Grand Prix history to finish on the podium in his first three races. Massa's team-mate Kimi Raikkonen was third.

The only driver from Oxfordshire's F1 teams to finish in the points at the Sakhir circuit was Giancarlo Fischella in the Enstone-built ING Renault who was eighth, ahead of his team-mate Heikki Kovalainen.

The Grove-built AT&T Williams-Toyotas of Nico Rosberg and Alexander Wurz finished tenth and 11th.

Rubens Barrichello was 13th in a Brackley-built Honda and Anthony Davidson was the last placed driver in the Leafield-built Super Aguri in 16th.

Neither Takuma Sato in the Super Aguri, nor Jenson Button in the Honda finished.
