I WAS pleased to hear Kent County Council (KCC) is investing £350,000 to help refurbish Gravesend town hall (£350,000 To Help Town Hall Revamp, News Shopper, March 28).
It is set to become an exciting venue if it houses a cafe, exhibition space and a community arts complex.
But KCC and Gravesham Council need to sort out how much it will cost before any more can be done.
At the moment Gravesham Council is saying it will cost £2m but KCC is saying £1.4m.
There is a difference between the two figures, but surely it cannot be too hard to find a figure both councils agree on?
