THE group heard Mr Michael Horseman on March 16 at the Parish Centre, give a talk entitled Along the A39.
He reminded them just how many interesting and pretty places there are all steeped in history and well worth a visit.
The ladies thoroughly enjoyed the talk and Helmi Holder-Wolff gave the vote of thanks.
The next meeting is on Friday March 30 when Jo Pocock will talk about Hestercombe Gardens. The meetings are in the parish centre from 7.30pm every fortnight and all ladies are welcome - you don't have to live in Wembdon as all newcomers are invited.
