RAIL fares are being dropped by up to 39 per cent on certain First Great Western services from Worcester.
The price of a ticket from Worcester to Bristol is coming down from £16.50 to £10 - a 39 per cent drop.
Another service to benefit from the cuts is the Worcester to Swindon route, where the price of a ticket is going down from £15.10 to £10 - a 34 per cent cut.
A spokesman for First Great Western said passengers could also get extra discounts on a first-come first-served basis by buying tickets online through the company's new airline-style advanced booking system.
