The mother of a murdered teenager who was stabbed 19 times outside his home seven years ago is appealing for help in catching his killer.

Jason Paul, 18, was knifed outside his Southall flat on October 2 - three months after the birth of his first-born baby girl.

Jason's mother Christine has contacted the Ealing Times to ask us to reissue his appeal because she still feels "empty and numb" all the time.

"His killers are still out there," said 60-year-old Christine. "My son was stabbed 19 times and his face was slashed with a knife.

"He leaves a daughter who was three months old when he was murdered. She has never known her daddy.

"Every year on her birthday we get a balloon and write a message to her dad on it. She lets its go and we tell her daddy is reaching down from heaven to read it.

"She's done that every year on her birthday. It's heartbreaking watching her do it."

Christine, of Southall, says she believes Jason, who was due to start a college course, knew his murderer and was called out of his flat on Convent Way where he was attacked.

"There wasn't a place on his body he wasn't stabbed," she said. "They even tried to stab him between the eyes.

"He was only 18 - these people could kill again.

"It's seven years and there's been nothing. It's driving me crazy knowing his killers are still out there.

"I feel empty and numb inside."

Police have said there is still a £7,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of Jason's killer.
