PLUMBERS ARMS 4, POWICK RES 4

POWICK Reserves travelled to Little Perdiswell to face Plumbers Arms in their latest Worcester League Division Four encounter.

The away side took the lead on 10 minutes whe Paul Ryan turned a Plumbers defender and powered home.

Plumbers pulled level on 20 minutes when a mix-up at the back, allowed their forward to poke the ball past Ashley Bennett in the Powick goal.

A Daniel Allen cross-cum-shot found its way into the net to restore Powick's advantage.

Plumbers equalised just before the break, rifling the ball past Bennett.

Straight from the restart, Plumbers scored a third when one off their midfielders got to a cross-field ball ahead of Richard Parker and hit a firsttime shot into the top corner.

Powick pulled level when Luan Gashi got round the Plumbers' left-back to beat the 'keeper with a low drive. The visitors then took the lead minutes later. A good interchange of passing between Paul Ryan and Pete Moore found Zillur Rahman just outside the box.

Rahman knocked the ball out of his stride before striking it goalwards. Just as it did with Powick's first goal, the dip on the shot fooled the Plumbers 'keeper.

With seconds left, Powick gave away a free-kick just outside their box. The cross found the head of one of three Plumbers players who had beaten Powick's offside trap, giving Bennett no chance.
