Police are looking for an arsonist who torched two cars in West Moseley.
Acting Detective Sergeant Dale Brunt said an arsonist set fire to a car in Ray Road about 1am on Sunday, April 15.
He said the flames from the first car spread to another parked nearby, leaving both completely burnt out.
"Mindless arson can cost lives and I would ask anyone who has information about anyone who is committing arsons in the Surrey area to contact the Surrey arson task force," D Serg Brunt said.
Surrey Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the fire.
Anyone with information should contact the arson task force on 01737 733693 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
