A WOMAN who fell into debt used her father's credit card to buy two designer watches before stealing goods worth about £2,000 from her employer.
Banbury magistrates jailed Leonie Monaghan, 21, for 20 months in April, after she pleaded guilty to four charges of theft. But she appealed and her sentence was suspended at Oxford Crown Court.
The court heard Vodafone call centre worker Monaghan, used her father's credit card to buy two Tag Heuer watches, worth about £1,710, and credited her phone account with £290.
Monaghan, of Marlbrough Road, Banbury, who admitted the thefts, had also stolen four mobile phones and accessories worth around £1,622 and credited her account with a further £131.
Mr Justice Calvert-Smith suspended her sentence for 12 months, and ordered her to complete 150 hours of community service, a 12 month supervision order, and to pay compensation to Tag Heuer and Vodafone.
